Warren in the Case Against Abortion
With regard to cases of normally healthy fetuses, the relevance of thisto abortion is that those who are more responsible (either through intentionor culpable negligence) for conceiving a child have a greater obligationto make sacrifices for a child than someone, such as a rape victim, whois not responsible for the conception. Generally, people who conceive childrenintentionally, apart from some special or acute circumstance, will notwant an abortion, so I would like here to address the notion of negligence.I think there are at least two kinds of negligence, one culpable, one not:(1) negligence out of a kind of ignorance -- lack of real understanding, even though one might have been told the information and is able to repeatwhat one has been told -- ignorance which is not culpable; and (2) negligenceout of lack of concern -- lack of behaving responsibly, which is culpable. In cases where ignorance is due to lack of concern, that kind of ignorance is culpable -- the person is responsible for beingignorant, and ignorance is not an excuse because the person should haveknown better. It is often, but not always, difficult to tell whether ignoranceis culpable or not, but I am not so much interested here in whether onecan tell as I am in trying to decide what is right when one can tell.
This argument should be followed by three or four strong corresponding arguments; for example, the second argument could be that this procedure can evoke medical complications and psychological trauma for women, and the third point can be religious responsibility; the fourth can defend human rights. You can divide your paper into four or five equal parts and just fill in the sections with the necessary content. You can put these arguments in the outline for argumentative essay on abortion in advance, in order to mitigate the writing process. Along with the arguments, which are the main body of the essay, the outline comprises introduction that gives a short information about the topic you work on and a thesis on this topic that come before the main body. If the topic is “Why abortion should be illegal”, introduce the issue in general, write a bit about it and explain your position in thesis by saying why you think that it should be illegal.
An Argument Against Abortion Essay -- The Right to …
In line with the idea of being primarily able to reduce the number ofabortions voluntarily, this paper is not meant to be a blueprint for lawsthat either require or forbid abortions in certain cases; it is meant ratherto (1) suggest a rational and informed approach for a doctor, for a woman, and for any advisers (advisers, not decision makers) she might seek(or be required to seek) to decide whether abortion would be right in hercircumstance or not, (2) suggest for those cases that do come before thejudiciary a more enlightened, direct, and rational approach than the courtsnow seem to take, (3) suggest a rational and informed approach for legislatorsto take when formulating whatever laws might have effects on abortions, such as adoption procedures and the legal rights of people who "give up"their babies for adoption, or, in the future, their embryos for transplant.

I would think programs like this would help remedy and remove the abortion-adoptiondilemma for those pregnant women (and expecting couples) who feel theycannot adequately rear a child by themselves but who also feel they couldnot bear to have one that they give away never to see again.
I believe if someone has a legitimate argument that causing a childto be born into a certain kind of life would be far worse for the childthan not allowing it be born at all, then it would be wrong for societyor someone else to make that child be born while doing nothing to try tohelp that child have a worthwhile life. And this is particularly true ifit is well within society's or that person's power to help the child havea worthwhile life. I think it is wrong to force someone to have a childthat cannot be properly nurtured without help, help that one then intentionallywithholds. It seems more rational, more right, and more compassionate tohelp a person prevail over the legitimate objections he/she has againsthaving his/her innocent child be born, if one wants her/him to have a child, than to require her/him to have the child that you then essentially consignto a life of needless suffering.

I once ventured upon some adolescent boys getting ready to torture ayoung cat by throwing it into a mass of sticker bushes to see how it woulddo. I interceded on behalf of the cat. The main antagonist, a fairly largeboy, was displeased by my intervention and said that I had no businessinterfering with their fun. His main comment was that it was his cat andhe could do anything he wanted to it. I take it that this is a form ofthe privacy (and private property) argument, that this was a private matterand I had no right to intervene. I did not at the time see fit to arguethe merits of the case on that particular issue and instead gave him othergrounds which I thought might appeal to him. I suggested that if he couldnot see any reason to see the similarity between the cat's feelings andhis own that I might help him see the relationship in this instance betweenthe cat's well-being and his own. This convinced him for the time at leastthat harming the cat might not be in his own best interest. But it occurredto me later that the cat's being his cat gave him not less responsibilityfor its well-being, as he seemed to think, but gave him even more responsibilityfor its well-being. In general, the owners of pets and the parents of youngchildren are held responsible for at least certain minimal standards oftheir charges' welfare. Recently enacted laws in a number of states requiringparents to have their children in car restraints while the car is in motionis another example of balancing parental privacy with child welfare onthe side of the welfare rather than privacy. And it does seem to me, havingseen so many parents who dangerously, carelessly, and recklessly allowtheir children to ride standing up on the front seat (as if to give theirheads better aim at the windshields in case of sudden braking or frontalcollision) that the innocent child should have a champion in the stateif the parents do not fulfill reasonable obligations. In general, a womandoes have some responsibility toward her children and even toward her unbornfetus. How much is open to discussion. And in general parents cannot justifablytreat their children any way they would want to, especially if that meansharming or killing the child, or risking its life or health needlessly.I would expect there to be made similar cases for fetal rights, thoughjust how much, and whether it could preclude abortion or not, and underwhat circumstances, is what is at issue. The point here is that privacy,by itself, is insufficient to morally justify abortion and/or other sortsof fetal harm -- regardless of the Supreme Court's legal decision.
The Apple Argument Against Abortion By Peter Kreeft
The main body of the essay should be composed of arguments connected to the thesis supported by evidence. If required, there can also be several counterarguments and their refutation. Termination of pregnancy is a rather sensitive subject to write about; it is recommended to choose the abortion counterarguments, that you can convincingly refute in order to link it to the thesis. It is especially effective in the essay on pros and cons of abortion. The main body is followed by a conclusion. Make sure that it concisely restates all the main arguments supporting the main idea, summarize all the introduced information in order to tie it up to the thesis.
Pros and Cons of Abortion - Buzzle
Before starting to write the essay and after conducting a proper research on the subject, you should compose the outline. Define the appropriate topic on abortion. Introduction paragraph should highlight the subject of the paper; in this case, the subject is the termination of pregnancy. In this section the reader should also be informed on how the paper is organized, it can be a concise introduction of general evidence that proves your thesis. And the last part of it should be the thesis. It should clearly express your point of view on the topic. For example, if the topic is “The termination of pregnancy should be illegal”, the thesis should be “The termination of pregnancy should be illegal because it is inhumane”. This is what the essay on abortion introduction should be.
